Recipe Notes

Alternatively, burdock root and lotus root are often used and they add a pleasant texture to the toppings.
This rice burger has lots of vegetables but the toppings easily fall off so the hamburger wrapper is very helpful to enjoy this dish.
You can also make the rice buns using ramekins coated with vegetable oil.
